I had just set up the camera and was about to leave the theatre last night when one of the dogs started barking at something up above. I turned the light on below and said “hello,” but after a few minutes, I didn’t hear anything else, so I turned the light off and left for home.
I didn’t dare go up the ladder until daylight. When I climbed up there this morning, I grabbed the camera and took a few more shots of the spooky attic.
I took one last look around, shivering, and hurried downstairs to watch the video.
I was shocked at what I saw. Something seems to turn on the bare bulb that hangs over the ladder. I guess the bulb might be loose. But why did my dog bark at the exact moment that the light went on?
If you examine the video closely, it looks like there are shadows moving around at the start and mist-like forms at the end. I suppose it could be a trick of the light; it was foggy last night.
But despite probably bland explanations for these things, I still can’t shake the feeling that the theatre knows I am here. This place feels alive in a profound way…
What do you think it was? Let me know in the comments if you have any theories.
